Sorry, James, but we could not collect shells for you from Fiji. First we did not receive your commment in time. Second, we were traveling to NZ next which had some very strict BioSecurity compliance laws in effect (i.e. no imported shells). Third, Octupus Resort had almost no shells on the beach. The waves were minimal and reef expansive, so basically the only things reaching the beach were pieces of coral which would stub your toes and scratch the bottoms of your feet if you were not careful.
But we will try more in the next few islands/countries.
