This blog began in 2007 when we, two newlyweds, decided to document our six week honeymoon excursion through Fiji, New Zealand, and Australia. In 2008, we decided to continue our blog to record a short trip to Peru. Fast forward to 2014 and we are now on our biggest adventure yet; a four month visit to Turkey- kids in tow.

Let's Start with the Cheese
This is one of our favorite pictures from the wedding. We're sure everyone doesn't want the mush throughout the blog, but we have to at least start with it. This is the reason we're traveling in the first place!
It all started at Brian and Amy Johnson's crawfish boil Memorial Day weekend in 2005. It was there that after a spirited predinner crawfish race, we met. Alan loves to travel and Kelly loves to tag along and so we have begun a lifelong pact to always maintain our sense of adventure and love of life. We said our vows April28, 2007 at a local winery and after much celebration and dancing that night we began this thing called marriage.
