This weekend capped our first week of classes, so the some VIP locals hosted an incredible beachside buffet for our group (faculty, staff and students) as well as the host families for our students. Hopefully there will be enough willing families left to host our family as well. The food was some of the best we have had so far, with so many options, plus wine and beer to boot. This soiree was held at a beach on the other side of the peninsula that we had not visited yet. But we found out that the bus can take us there, so we definitely see some visits in the future. The beach is similar to ours, but there is a playground right off the beach and the view is incredible!
